Ethics Code
This code expresses the commitments and ethical responsibilities in the conduct of business and corporate activities undertaken by the collaborators of Emisfera Soc. Coop. and its Subsidiaries, whether they are directors, employees or self-employed workers in any meaning of these enterprises.
The mission
Emisfera Soc. Coop. has the mission to be the most efficient market-oriented and quality service-oriented producer and distributor of information and telecommunication systems, with the aim of creating value for members, satisfying customers and valuing all the people who work there. Emisfera Soc. Coop. aspires to maintain and develop the relationship of trust with those categories of individuals, groups, companies, or institutions whose contribution is required to achieve the mission of Emisfera Soc. Coop. or who otherwise have an interest at stake in its pursuit, especially members, employees, customers, suppliers, and business partners.
Unethical behaviors
In the conduct of business, unethical behaviors compromise the relationship of trust between Emisfera Soc. Coop. and its interlocutors. The behavior of anyone, whether an individual or an organization, who seeks to appropriate the benefits of others’ cooperation by exploiting positions of strength is unethical and encourages the assumption of hostile attitudes toward the company. Emisfera Soc. Coop. decisively rejects unethical behavior and requires its collaborators to comply with its code of ethics.
The value of reputation and fiduciary duties
Good reputation is an essential intangible resource. Externally, good reputation fosters shareholder investment, customer loyalty, attraction of the best human resources, supplier serenity, and reliability to creditors. Internally, it helps to make and implement decisions without friction and to organize work without bureaucratic controls and excessive exercises of authority. The code of ethics clarifies the particular duties of Emisfera Soc. Coop. and enables it to build its reputation over time.
The code of ethics
The code of ethics provides:
- Commitment to legality. Emisfera Soc. Coop. does not pay tips to anyone, either to acquire customers or to facilitate its work. Emisfera Soc. Coop. simply performs its duty and believes that others should do the same. Emisfera Soc. Coop. issues the administrative and tax documents required by law for each service rendered and for the full amount received. Emisfera Soc. Coop. employs personnel in compliance with current labor regulations and fully applies the CCNL Metalmeccanica Industria to both employees and partner workers. Protecting workers means protecting the quality of services offered.
- Commitment not to exploit the client’s particular psychological condition. Emisfera Soc. Coop. does not lure or plagiarize its customers, but provides them in advance and in writing with all the information necessary for them to make informed choices, in accordance with the service they want, compatible with their economic availability, prioritizing more convenient solutions over more onerous ones. Emisfera Soc. Coop. prepares estimates binding for itself, but without commitment for the customer, also provided by telephone or through the website. Emisfera Soc. Coop. informs its customers about the possibilities of filing complaints and requesting the resolution of any disputes according to Italian laws.
- Commitment to fair communication. Emisfera Soc. Coop. adopts such methods and contents in its commercial communication (advertising, contractual, illustrative material,etc.) as not to mislead customers and such that it does not take resounding, mendacious or unseemly forms.
- Commitment to avoid all forms of discrimination. Emisfera Soc. Coop. ensures its services with respect for customers’ culture, religion and political views; without practicing any form of discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion, political views, psychophysical and socioeconomic conditions.
- Social Commitment. Emisfera Soc. Coop. donates a portion of its revenues to non-profit Social Organizations and non-profit cultural and sports associations, according to entities and methods defined in the appropriate agreements.
